Title Sequence
For this project, I was tasked with creating a title sequence for a show or movie. I chose Blade Runner 2049. The assignment included producing a video and style frames, with a focus on exploring different techniques and applying them creatively within the sequence. I worked independently and spent a week experimenting with various footage and visual effects.

My goal was to capture the atmosphere and tone of Blade Runner 2049 while still telling a story. I took the original film’s opening text block and reimagined it by extending it and weaving in subtle teasers that foreshadow the narrative. I styled the typography to match the original movie while exploring unique visuals for the sequence.
I used Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop throughout the project. The most challenging part was staying motivated to finish the sequence. I spent a lot of time researching tutorials and trying out different effects, many of which I ended up removing because they didn’t match the feel of the movie. This project really tested my patience, but I’m proud to have completed it. I may revisit it in the future to refine and improve what I created.
