Sports Data Visualization
This project was a tracking video assignment where I was tasked with creating a sports data visualization video, incorporating original HUDs that displayed relevant data for the sport. The project included a short video, style frames, and a style guide document. I worked independently on this project, handling all the effects applied over the provided footage.

The process was highly technical, and I spent countless hours tracking HUDs over the boxers in the footage. My goal was to give the video a futuristic theme, with the concept of it feeling like valuable lost media that someone had stumbled upon. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of designing unique HUDs and figuring out the best direction for the video.
For this project, I used Adobe After Effects for the video and Adobe Illustrator for the style guide and style frames. One of the major challenges I faced was the tracking; the footage lacked enough contrast to enable automatic motion tracking. To overcome this, I manually tracked most of the HUD motion, which added an extra layer of complexity but ultimately resulted in a more polished final product.
