Kavorka
For this project, I was given the name Kavorka and tasked with creating a makeup brand around it. The scope included developing a brand document, promotional images, and magazine spreads, as well as producing a short video to showcase three new products. I worked independently, which gave me the opportunity to strengthen my Photoshop skills and begin exploring After Effects.

I wanted the logo to connect with the brand’s name. After some research, I discovered that Kavorka means “the lure of the animal,” which inspired the idea of two panthers forming a heart, symbolizing attraction, power, and elegance. I envisioned the brand to be capable of bold, dramatic looks as well as softer, more natural ones. The goal was to appeal to a wide audience while still celebrating the divine aspects of femininity.
For the visuals, I used Photoshop to edit the photos and design the magazine spreads, Illustrator to create the logo, and After Effects to bring the video to life. Before this project, I didn’t enjoy using Photoshop much, mostly because I wasn’t confident in it—but now, it’s become one of my favorite tools.
